The Rainmaker is the culmination of 17 years delivering business development for professionals. Designed to ensure business growth The Rainmaker is a fast-paced, motivational, outcome focused, action learning journey from the informal coffee to the boardroom pitch. It is a tough love track to better contacts, more clients and increased profits.

Day One: Attitude, Approach & Action

On day one we focus on your Attitude, Approach and Actions because you need to maximise the results from your precious business development time.

Day Two: Building Rapport: Making The Emotional Connection

On day two you will find creative ways of connecting that will ensure your words carry weight and stay longer in the mind. We call it 30-3-30: whether you have 30 seconds, three minutes or 30 minutes you must always be “pitch ready”. Using digital video technology we test your attitude to risk in the room.

Day Three: Advancing The Client Meeting

The brochures, the website and the dinners are money spent with one aim in mind: to get in the room. So don’t be average when you get there.

BUSINESS GROWTH IN 3 MONTHS

Business Growth Workshops at one, three and six months maintain momentum and drive results. These short, sharp intensive sessions are designed specifically to ensure Rainmakers embed good habits and take action at the right point by addressing any gremlins in their business development landscape.

One-to-one Tough Love Coaching ensures the skills learned in the room are converted into action and sales. This is as far from nice to have as it is possible to get, delegates come in with their results, discuss their challenges and leave with clear, specific objectives to improve their sales.

Optional Electives provide flexibility and the opportunity to provide broader and deeper learning individuals or business teams. The high stakes Beauty Parade Pitch and The Four Client Meetings are out two most popular electives: ask about them.

MEASURING & REPORTING

The Programme starts with online pre-work to assess current abilities and activities of delegates and their attitude to business development. This gets them in the zone for the programme and allows us to tailor content to the needs of the room.

The intensive three-day Group Development Event inspires and motivates for sure, but also has delegates set goals for future action and is followed by online questionnaires at one, three and six months to assess embedding of learning and provide an invaluable Gap Analysis.
